Southwest Tech Board of Education

Southwest Tech family thankful for hard work, dedication.

The Board of Education plays a pivotal role in guiding Southwest Tech towards its mission of providing exceptional educational opportunities and fostering a dynamic learning environment. Their strategic leadership, tireless efforts, and passion for education contribute significantly to the success and growth of our institution.

As we express our appreciation, the Board of Education was recognized at Tuesday's board meeting for their commitment to excellence and the betterment of our educational community. Their collaborative decision-making, vision, and advocacy ensure that Southwest Tech continues to thrive and meet the evolving needs of our students and stakeholders.

Throughout Board of Education Appreciation Month, Southwest Tech encourages the community to join in recognizing and thanking these dedicated individuals for their selfless service. Their role goes beyond meetings and decisions; it extends to shaping the future of our students and making a lasting impact on our community.

Southwest Tech currently has five school board members: Mark Nichols-President, Katy Butchee- Vice President, Danna Robinson-Clerk, Dennis Vernon-Member, and Mike Duffy-Member.

“Our school board members not only share their time but their vision and voice to shape the direction of Southwest Tech,” Superintendent/CEO, Dale Latham said. “We are proud of our school board members and the dedication they have to making our district the best it can be. School Board Recognition Month is the time to say thank you and celebrate the accomplishments of our elected board members.”
