The Southwest Tech Foundation's sole purpose is to provide financial support to adult students as they complete their programs and become certified in their chosen careers. Each year, the Foundation hosts the Southwest Technology Center Foundation Golf Tournament, its primary fundraiser.
This year, the annual Southwest Technology Center Foundation Golf Tournament is scheduled for Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at The Greens of Altus in Altus, Oklahoma. The event aims to raise funds for scholarships and support for full-time adult students attending Southwest Technology Center.
In 2022, the tournament experienced a record-breaking year, raising over $25,000 in proceeds. Additionally, the Foundation has surpassed a milestone, having awarded over $275,000 in total scholarships from the event proceeds. With continued support, the Foundation aims to increase financial assistance to even more students.
Various sponsorship opportunities are available for individuals and businesses to support the tournament:
Gold Plus Sponsorship - $750: Company name featured prominently on tee box sign , flag at one of the 9 pin holes (SOLD OUT), and a 4-person team.
Gold Sponsorship - $500: Company name displayed on a large sign at tee box and a 4-person team.
Silver Sponsorship - $250: Company name featured on a medium sign at tee box.
Hole Sponsor - $100: Company name displayed on a small sign at tee box.
Cart Sponsor - $50: Company name featured on a sign representing the golf carts.
Additionally, this year's tournament will feature a silent auction to further raise funds for student scholarships. Donations of items for the auction are welcomed and greatly appreciated. Donors will be recognized at the silent auction tables.
