Seven dedicated students from Southwest Technology Center (Southwest Tech) have been honored with the Otha Grimes Scholarship, a distinguished award presented by the Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology Education Foundation. This scholarship supports students pursuing technical and career education in Oklahoma.
The recipients of this year’s Otha Grimes Scholarship from Southwest Tech include:
Nathan Cuellar Vasquez – Aviation Maintenance
Jesus DeLaCruz – Aviation Maintenance
Ada Marie Villipane – Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN)
Chloe Sucharski – Cosmetology
Danica Hubert – Aviation Maintenance
Jewlie Brzozowski – Business and Computer Technology
Bradley Martin – Aviation Maintenance
These students have demonstrated exceptional dedication to their education and commitment to advancing their professional skills. The Otha Grimes Scholarship helps alleviate financial barriers, allowing recipients to focus on their studies and career training. The scholarship is part of the Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology Education Foundation’s efforts to support and strengthen Oklahoma’s skilled workforce through financial aid to deserving students.
