Southwest Technology Center held its awards assembly this week, honoring students for their outstanding achievements in various categories, including industry certifications, Students of the Quarter, Microburst credentials, and perfect attendance. The Southwest Tech Student Ambassadors were also recognized for their contributions to the institution.

The assembly highlighted the hard work, dedication, and accomplishments of students across multiple

programs. Recognizing their success not only reinforces the importance of vocational education but also showcases the valuable skills students are gaining at Southwest Tech.

Industry Certifications

Several students earned industry certifications in their respective fields, demonstrating the mastery of critical skills required by today’s workforce. These certifications reflect their readiness to transition from classroom learning to real-world applications, making them competitive in their chosen industries.

Students of the Quarter

The prestigious Student of the Quarter awards were presented to those who have displayed exceptional performance, commitment, and leadership in their programs. These students serve as role models and reflect the core values upheld by Southwest Tech.

Microburst Credentials

Students also received Microburst EmployABILITY Soft Skills Credentials for demonstrating excellence in employability skills such as teamwork, communication, and professionalism. These credentials signify that students are well-prepared to meet the demands of future employers.

Perfect Attendance

Students who achieved perfect attendance were acknowledged for their dedication and consistency. Their commitment to being present and engaged every day is a testament to their work ethic and determination.

Student Ambassadors

Southwest Tech also celebrated the contributions of its Student Ambassadors, who serve as leaders and representatives of the student body. These ambassadors support school events, give campus tours, and mentor fellow students, fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.
