Southwest Technology Center is proud to recognize Jason Carter as the March Employee of the Month for his exceptional contributions to the institution and its mission. Since joining Southwest Tech just over a year ago, Jason has played a pivotal role in expanding outreach efforts, increasing engagement, and driving growth within the Business and Industry Services (BIS) Department.
Jason has approached his role with professionalism, initiative, and a passion for making Southwest Tech’s offerings more accessible to the community. He has gone beyond expectations by becoming a Certified CPR-First Aid Instructor, Stop the Bleed Instructor, and Forklift Instructor, enabling him not only to promote training opportunities but to actively lead them. His proactive approach in learning about Southwest Tech’s full-time programs has strengthened the institution’s outreach efforts, allowing him to effectively educate stakeholders on the wide range of educational opportunities available.
“Jason has been an outstanding addition to the BIS Department and has helped push our team to set and achieve higher goals,” said a colleague in his nomination. “His dedication and ability to develop strong business connections have led to an increase in short-term classes and student enrollment.”
Jason’s commitment to his role, his team, and the greater Southwest Tech mission make him a well-deserving recipient of this recognition. Please join us in congratulating Jason Carter on being named Southwest Tech’s March Employee of the Month!
