Southwest Technology Center is proud to announce that seven of its outstanding students have been awarded the esteemed Otha Grimes Scholarship, administered by the Oklahoma CareerTech Foundation. This scholarship provides financial assistance to adult students enrolled in Oklahoma's Career and Technology Education programs, supporting their educational pursuits and career aspirations.
The recipients from Southwest Technology Center are:

Jenny Martinez – Cosmetology
Danica Hubert – Airframe
Naomi Cervantes – Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN)
Beatrice Cherono – Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN)
Benita Padron – Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN)
The Otha Grimes Scholarship is designed to assist adult students who are Oklahoma residents enrolled in programs at Career and Technology Centers. The scholarship funds can be used for various educational expenses, including tuition, books, uniforms, and other costs directly related to their training.
