Due to the city-wide water main break, Southwest Tech will be closing at noon for all full-time programs. Afternoon students do not report to campus today 8/22/24. Evening classes will proceed and meet as normal.

Health Science students are off to an amazing start in Anatomy and Physiology! 🧠💪 They kicked off the year with a fun and interactive project, tracing and labeling the human body. Teacher Prep students are off to a great start to the new year! This week, they have participated in different icebreaker activities to get to know each other.
Metal Fabrication, Construction, and Automotive students are starting their OSHA 10 safety course today. Construction/OSHA Certified teacher Mr.Steve Forster will be the instructor for this course. After completion of this course the students will then be able to go out and participate in their corresponding shop labs.
Enrollment is open for our Basic Welding Class in September! If you are just starting out, need a little more practice, or even just wanting to hone in on a few basic skills, this class is for you! Step into our metal fabrication area, and get to use our top-of-the-line welding equipment to master basic skills of the field. You will earn a Certificate of Completion after the class!
