SNEAK PEEK!! Metal Fabrication students are currently building a 14' long with dove tail by 6' wide trailer with a 3500# axle.
We will be selling tickets to raffle off this trailer. The money raised will be benefiting the Metal Fab Career Tech Student Organization. That money is used to help pay for the students to attend SkillsUSA leadership conferences and also our district, state and national contests.

1st year student Mitchell Clark took on the project of fabricating a tilt flat bed for our maintenance departments John Deere Gator that had a bed rusted out.
Southwest Tech students and instructors and staff came through HUGE on the annual food drive community service event! During Career Tech Week over 6500 food items for children were collected! We were able to donate 241 backpacks for kids attending our district schools to supplement the Backpacks for Kids program and provide yummy snacks over spring break! WAY TO GO SOUTHWEST TECH!

The guest speaker, Jon Parker spoke to the group about De-escalation in the classroom. This afternoon Sheriff Stacy Randolph presented Active Shooter training to all Southwest Tech staff!
